Your lips need sun protection just as much as the rest of your skin. Made with non-nanoparticle zinc oxide, a mineral active that sits on the skin's surface to help shield lips from the sun, this balm offers broad, gentle protection without synthetic chemical sunscreens.
Underneath that protection is a soothing blend of organic herbs your lips will actually notice. Calendula, comfrey, plantain, lavender, and yarrow are traditional skin-soothing botanicals, paired with nourishing organic olive oil, beeswax, and vitamin E to lock in moisture and keep lips soft. A touch of organic spearmint essential oil adds a light, refreshing flavor with no synthetic fragrance in sight.

- Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor.
- Sun Protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10am - 2pm, wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.
